A
At the end of 2012, and by chance, I came across a review on a foreign site. The text had wonders of a Finnish group had just released his first album.
It was one of those texts as enthusiastic and well written that at least, I felt like I could be listening ...... although, as in many cases, a simple opinion too exaggerated.
The truth is that after looking for more information and viewing some footage on Youtube, that seemed pretty apt observation commensurate with the quality of the group.
Battle Beast released their first album (globally, via Nuclear Blast) in 2012, garnering rave reviews and returning, somehow, the old flavor of the powerful and catchy metal that ran nonstop in the 80s.

It is a group that reminds Doro, Warlock, UDO, Scorpions or the like, but with a much more modern and melodic touch keyboards. It is as if these groups had launched their most significant albums today: Power in his classic compositions with a sound and very modern production.
Battle Beast is pure Heavy Metal, without too many frills and away from the sound experiments currently affecting gender.
Although all members meet and cherish quality, the highlight was his stunning singer. Nitte Valo became one of the most powerful voices of the moment, with a vocal quality beyond doubt (Live is one of the best singers I've ever heard). In my view, Nitte Valo was the female version of Halford. Enough said. (In terms of quality).
But Nitte left the group in late 2012 ......

OUT OF CONTROL,
When a singer is so unique and powerful, its output usually means the end of the group. At least I was not happy and gave them up for dead. Luckily for everyone, I was wrong, and Battle Beast hired a new singer, but not overwhelming power of Nitte, is located nearby.
This leads to the release of their eponymous album: Battle Beast, an album released in early 2013 which confirms the good performance of the band and puts them in an excellent position: They are one of the best heavy metal groups today.
The album consists of 13 tracks +1 bonus to their limited edition, all impressive and very catchy, among which highlight the amazing cover letter that is "LET IT ROAR" (a subject brutal and super heavy). OUT OF CONTROL, NEUROMANCER (inspired by the great science fiction literary work of William Gibson) REVOLUTION MACHINE and even the eighties and pleasant BLACK NINJA. These would be my favorite, but any song on the album is filler.

I emphasize that I believe, Steel (the first album of the band) is one of the best albums of classic Heavy launched in years and Battle Beast that although this does not reach its greatness, manages to keep his spirit. It is a tremendous album.
I think, in all sincerity, that Battle Beast is, today, one of the few groups that understand the true meaning of Heavy Metal .......
Great sound, great lyrics and meritorious production. Do not fail to listen to this wonderful group. Hail! Metal!
And as always: If you like music, really, buy records ....
